Devious Journal EntryI was so very surprised by how quickly feedback is generated here...Delighted, perhaps...Even as I was in the process of uploading my drawings the comments came in...But then, I guess that is the most appealing aspect of it all...
I did of course allow myself to be flattered unduly by said comments...Nod vaguely to criticisms while grasping compliments with both hands...I'll work on it, though...
But, for all my vanity, after taking the time to browse through the work of others I became well and truly humbled...I went back to my own work and idly wondered if I had any right to place it besides such pieces as I had seen...But the sentiment passed...Leaving me instead with a gentle but nagging urge to persist at bettering my own work...
My poor neglected pencil and I must reconcile ourselves...It's been too long since I've had a callus on my middle finger...
In any event, please forgive the strange mediums I may use at times...Paper is not always available...

just a quick explanation for the head : i didn't ink over the pencil, i started with an ink pen. but i'm never comfortable with bodies so i changed for something i could erase... and then i was too lazy to ink the rest...

then it is settled, for now i can call you that word...it lingers hestiantly upon my lips...a quivering whisper of progress which in wake of our fumbling and grasping for verbosity, is amazingly and refreshingly simplistic
...i will be losing touch for a while...with myself and others...for a while i will be on the road traveling loops and circles through the states...so until then i'll have to leave you upon the note of being able to define our relationship through that one word...
